OUR STORY

Our candles and diffusers are designed to remind us of the costal areas we love, invoking personal experiences and memories all year round.

Inspired by all things nautical and synonymous to the UK, we designed our products to reflect our love of our coastline, from the port registration, to navigational coordinates on all our products and packaging, and nautical brand name, we are passionate about linking our scents with the coastal places we love.

Our design and ingredients are inspired by these beautiful environments.

REASON BEHIND THE NAME

Hoshi is a 2-masted schooner designed by Charles Nicholson. She was originally launched in 1909 at the Camper and Nicholson shipyard.

In 1951 she was owned by the Island Cruising Club in Salcombe and was kept there for about the next 40 years.

She has been used extensively for the purpose of providing sailing training to members of the ICC.

Our aim was for our brand to remind us of the sea and invite our customers to feel part of our club, giving rise to The Hoshi Club!
